Private schools have always been a part of the education equation. These independent schools are not government funded, so they must charge some type of tuition for their students. Also, they are able to choose their curriculum instead of follow national mandated curriculums. A private school and a boys school can offer educational advantages for your child.

A boys school, or single-sex schools, can offer your son a learning experience specifically designed for his strengths. Because most boys schools are private schools, there is a stringent application process. Generally, only the best and brightest students are accepted. Because of this, your son will be surrounded by students who are eager to learn.

A private school that is not single-sex still offer some advantages. If you have a religious preference, your student can attend a religious school. The administration integrates religious studies into other subject areas. This cannot be done at a regular public school. Also, a private school also screens and test students before admittance. This ensures that the school is enrolling the top tier students.
